The Teenage Perspective: Allysha Saunders speaks on Individualism

This past week, my two sisters attended a discussion on the 'State of a Black Woman' for a young women's empowerment group.

Here's a take on the discussion from the oldest of my younger siblings Allysha Saunders.

"The discussion was focused on categorizing the state of black women as one group but not everything necessarily pertained to EVERY black woman. The state of a black woman is within our OWN minds. It is personal and unique to every woman because we don't all have the same mind set or the same subconcious depth as one another. Every individual's state of mind is different."
