Pushing the Limits - My bike ride for MS

I'm in pain! Thought that would get your attention!

Yesterday, I biked 66 miles for Multiple Sclerosis and believe me when I tell you that mind over matter really works.

When I first signed up for this event, I thought surely I could do 33 miles. But there were also courses for 66 miles and 100 miles. I always look for the challenges in life so, I decided to do the 66 mile course, the furthest I had ever ridden by far.

The weather was great, my body felt good but around mile 45 or so, my body started telling me a different story. And although my body was ready to stop, my mind had decided that because I made the decision to complete the 66 miles, that nothing short of utter body failure would stop me from pushing onward.

And you know what, I am happy to say that I accomplished this feat!!!

What an amazing sense of accomplishment I have today. Nothing can take this victory from me.

And you can do it too!

Set a task or a goal for yourself, no matter how small you may think it to be, and no matter what, convince yourself and decide, choose to complete it!

I believe in you. Here's to accomplishing!
