Tips to Curb Nervous Anxiety

Sweaty palms before your recital? Slight nausea before the debate? Mind drawing a blank right before the big final exam?

It happens to the best of us, its called being nervous and guess what it happens. I would beg to even say it happens to the greatest of greats. Have you seen or heard of any government officials looking a bit timid or nervous lately? (wink)

Its quite honestly such a normal feeling. I spoke with a few girls recently on this matter and I completely understand that its frustrating and can sometimes even take you out of your game.

However, even though you're experience it, there are some thing you can do to help curb that feeling.

Here are some tips I've utilized to overcome my bouts of nervousness:

1. Be prepared, practice and know your craft
2. Trust and believe in yourself that you've done the best you can thus far to prepare
3. Do a mental walk through of your performance
4. Be confident, breathe and execute
3. And most importantly have fun!!!

After all, if you're giving and doing your absolute best, THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS!
