I read this amazing quote by Maya Angelou today about inventing oneself daily. That we have the right and possibility to do this every day.
"Each of us has that right, that possibility, to invent ourselves daily. If a person does not invent herself, she will be invented. So, to be bodacious enough to invent ourselves is wise." -- Maya Angelou
This was so inspiring to read and know that whatever I did yesterday is history and no matter what I'm doing today, I have the choice and opportunity to invent myself.
It also made me think about all of you who are inventing yourselves daily as well. As you are maturing and becoming young women, your every action is forming the person you will become.
And amongst the many peer pressures I am so very proud of those who push the boundaries and express their individualism.
Rock it out every day and keep inventing and re-inventing yourselves!!
