Hi Girl Fearless!
Its India and I'm back from my recent trip to Germany.
Yep I finally went and I must say I had an awesome time. As I was getting ready to go I had a few reservations about going to a place where I’d be out of my element, but I went. I honestly believed that this was going to be the trip of a lifetime something that I didn't want to miss out on. I was FEARLESS in that I was able to go to another country and spend some valuable time with my father and his family. I don’t get many opportunities to see him, so it was only right that I jumped at this chance.
I must say though Germany is not what I expected, it was way better than I ever expected! It was very cool for me to go somewhere new and the new people I met, I felt like I’d known them my whole life. My father and stepmother took me to quite a few interesting places such as downtown Nürnberg where I got to see some pretty amazing churches and a huge castle!
We also went shopping at some quirky, cool stores (in my opinion) that were shockingly expensive. I also got the chance to go onto two different military bases and see where my father worked and so on. The whole trip was eye-opening and I haven’t even gotten to the food! I'm usually very picky when it comes to food but I managed to try a few new dishes. My favorite would have to be the Goulash, which is like a beef stew.
We also went to a Mongolian buffet that was delicious, the shrimp was just perfect! As far as the kangaroo meat, deer, and pig shoulder I'm not that adventurous, but then again the next time I go who knows I might just be FEARLESS enough to try it!
I feel that I was blessed with this opportunity, and if you have the chance of a lifetime to see a new place, meet new people, and have fun doing it GO For It!
Having regrets later in life won't be fun, and who knows you might just find your true self.
