What do you do, when you don't feel like doing?


I'm sure there are days when you don't feel your best. When you feel like the pressures of school, from your parents, from your friends are just way too much and all you want to do is throw on your headphones and veg out.

And you know what, that's perfectly okay! Its perfectly okay to not feel on top of it all at times. Its part of being human and its part of growth.

It takes a wise person to understand when its time to take a break. I am self professed work and do-holic. I love being active, participating and being apart of. But there are those times when I do need to just take a break from it all. And its not so easy to recognize at times, but its important to learn.

So if you're like me and you have much to do - school, extracurricular activities, sports, parties and just plain a whole bunch of stuff to do, take some time for you every so often.

Go to that quiet place within you, and do something you really enjoy or do nothing at all. Sit on your back porch, listen to your favorite music, write a poem, draw or anything that gets you going. Express the innermost you!
